If you love Jolie in  her movies Smith and Wanted, you probably love her more with her upcoming movie SALT this July. This movie is a SONY project that was supposedly for  Tom Cruise but turned down due to similarity of the story to his movie Mission Impossible.  So it was  rewritten from male to female (Source) and there’s no doubt Jolie really fit for this project considering her super records for the past 10 years.  She successfully made millions of $$$$ to almost all of her movies, especially the  Mr. & Mrs. Smith,  Wanted and Tomb Rider (which are my favorites).

For several months of filming that mostly done on New York and Washington DC (source),  SALT is now ready to be released in Cinema  this coming July.

I think It’s about time to make a review for this Body Recipe’s Skin Lightening Body Butter after I used three tubs. I discovered this product few months ago when I got the chance to visit HBC and picked this one. My reason for buying this lotion is not to whiten my skin but the moisturizing purposes. I love my morena complexion, and I don’t like  the  pale white.

What I really like with this Body Recipe is the smooth feeling when applied to the skin. It really did a good job in moisturizing the skin. Perhaps, it also lightens the skin, I’m not 100% sure with that.

I also love the scent and it lasts longer ( I can smell it until at night), it smells like  Olay Moisturizing Bar with Shea Butter. Isn’t obvious that I am patronizing Shea butter? Aside from the Shea butter, it contains Goat milk that promises to lighten the skin and Aloe Vera that moisturizes the skin making it so soft to touch.

I highly recommend this Body Recipe for anyone with oily skin as it isn’t sticky and the skin absorbed it quickly. And oh, did I mention that it is affordable? It is sold for around P99.00 or $2.  No wonder I never hesitate to use it daily, though it must be applied two to three times a week.

After the success of opening the Forever21 in Time Square, this company has a lot of energy left. Wanna know why? This coming July 2 there will be opening a new store here in Philippines. Yeah you read it right, there will be Forever21 in Philippines and everyone is talking about it. This would be the great news for Filipinos craving for Forever 21 apparels. And I’m one of them:)

This Olay Moisturizing Bar

• It comes with Ultra Moisturizer with Shea Butter.  Most soaps containing  Shea butter like Palmolive really smells good and I really like the scent.
• It leaves your skin clean and petal soft unlike ordinary and whitening soap that makes your skin so dry so you need to apply body lotion.
• It is gentle to use on your face.
• It is affordable.
• The soap is so soft that melts easily. That’s the main drawback of this soap, but you can put it on a separate container so it will last longer.

You can alternately use this with your whitening soap like Kojic Acid Soap.  Not all soap can moisturize the skin that’s why you need some moisturizing soaps as well.   If  you are looking for a good moisturizing soap, then Olay Body Moisturizing with Shea Butter is the best option. You can purchase it in  malls for around P50 and it is available also in Amazon for $22.24 only, containing  14 white bars.

I’m not a big fan of whitening products, except teeth whitening. But since Kojic San or Kojic Acid Soap is becoming popular nowadays, I totally gave in to this soap for a try. I first heard this soap from a Beauty and Fashion forum, a lot of users say it did really a great job in whitening your skin, even those embarrassing dark skin spots. So here’s my short Kojic Acid Soap review after using it for a week.

Pro

• It is effective as a skin whitening. Most of the whitening products give you a pale white, but this soap gives you a pinkish white.
• It makes your skin so smooth.
• Using Kojic Acid Soap regularly can minimize skin pores.
• It works well in treating pimples
• You skin is glowing for it removes dead skin cells.

Cons

• The soap melts easily
• It irritates sensitive skins.
• It makes your skin so dry.

Some Tricks

• After taking a bath, always apply body lotion
• Put Kojic Acid Soap in a dry area so it won’t melt easily. I also cut the soap into halves to make it last longer.
• It might irritate your sensitive skin, so better consult your doctor first.
• For a better result, use loofah and leave the soap in your skin for about 3 minutes, then rinse off all residue.
• Apply sun block when you go out.

If you are tired of using make up concealers to hide your imperfections, or hate those dark acne scars, you better use Kojic Acid Soap.
